* EZ Gator is a web based interface
to quickly configure your routers.
All you do is enter the mac address of your router, assign it to
a hotspot from a drop down list. Give it a SSID which is how it
is identified by your laptop and submit the information.
Next step is flash your router with your custom EZ Gator firmware,
give your router an internet connection and it will automatically
download its settings from your server, you now have an access
point (AP) captive portal hotspot.
But wait, the EZ Gator gets better, if you need a mesh - repeater
network, with your AP still connected from the prevous step,
flash another router with the same firmware. Plug this router
into power only and it will see that it does not have an intrnet
connection and will reboot as a repeater and mesh with the
access point and download it's settings.
* MAC Authentication allows you to be automatically logged in
after your first log in, this is ideal for hotels, airports or
anywhere that you use the mesh network, in short, you do not
have to continually log into each node. |
